Free Admission to the Frankenmuth Historical Museum
Description
In honor of the founding of Frankenmuth, the Frankenmuth Historical Museum is allowing Free Admission to all visitors on Tuesday, August 18th, known as Founder's Day. On this date in 1845, 15 German settlers walked from Saginaw through the woods, thickets and swamps to finally settle in a place that reminded them of their homeland, and they called it Frankenmuth - meaning "Courage of the Franconians".
